This small bunch of Stipa Penata is dyed in the color cerise and is perfect for use in dried flower creations that are not too high or that run wide. Very many small tufts of these cerise feathers can be processed from the bunch. The length of the plumes including the stems is 50 cm.
This is a species of sand grass that is native to Hungary and Slovakia. The lovely light feathery tips are so soft that you cannot help running your hand over them to check that they are as soft as they look.
These small bushes are approximately 50 cm long and weigh around 40 grams.
